2021
I visited Cancun again in 2021 for an all-inclusive stay. We arrived 55 minutes before departure and missed our flight from YHM. We booked another at YYZ…and missed that one too. Third time's the charm and we made it to Cancun a day later than planned.
The sign says they close 45 minutes before flight, but, 55 minutes before, they were long gone.

Some people are very literal. You should not recommend anything if you actually mean "you must do this." Do you recommend I not bring weapons on the plane?
